Then I get the traditional "Getting things ready" part. During the deployment of the reference image, the color of the background during initial setup if the correct color, but after I get to the windows OOBE part, it skips directly to the Network part, and reverts my colors back to Blue. First I tried Automatic Color, but now I'm trying to enforce a static color.

Trust me, I've been searching for the answer to this for a long time. Most of the static Applications we use are installed and I run a disk cleanup at the end before Sysprep. I've got all the windows updates installed and the default users registry hive set up the way it's suppose to be. I have a powershell script that basically automates the configuration process for the reference image. I don't know if I don't have the correct Reg Keys or Windows is resetting things on me during sysprep and deployment. Why is it so difficult to implement a standard color across a machine? If you have suggestions for the sidebar, let us know! We're always looking for great resources.
